TUSAL Update For March 30th

I almost forgot about this, it's time for my TUSAL update.

I've added another jar to the update for my DMC wrappers, it won't be in every update just when I've add several extra wrappers.

Here is my TUSAL ORT jar. lots more black, yellow, brown & green threads from two more pieces for my "Bee Sunny" collection and of course the snips from the Shamrock biscornu.

Here is my pint Ball bail jar just for the DMC wrappers, it has 8 skeins worth in it so far.

It's been raining here for most of the day, but all that changed about an hour ago to my most favorite fluffy white crap from the heavens. {And yes, that last bit was typed with all the sarcasticness I could muster up.}

That's it for today everyone, I want to say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who stops by and leaves their thoughts behind on all of my posts, I appreciate each and every one of them.

Easter Pin Pilllow Gift

OK, I'm having a go at posting a gift from me to you that I printed and then scanned.
Since this one is larger and uses more colors than those previously posted I decided to see how this would work out.

"Hoppy Easter Pin Pillow"
Designer: Sandra D. Longan {Sandra Longan Designs}
Designed for 28ct linen or evenweave using DMC threads.
This one has whole cross stitches, 1/4 stitches, petite stitch, french knots and back stitching.
The petite stitch is only used in the butterflies and bees.

That's it for today, I hope you enjoy the new chart and I would love to see your finished version's. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your thoughts behind.

2014 Smalls SAL Update

Here it is, the last Wednesday in March and time for me to do my 2014 Smalls SAL update.

I'll start with the finish/finish of my "Bee Sunny" Scissor Fob.

 "Bee Sunny"
 I ended up making the cording a little short (whoops), but it will still work.

Next up is a new design I did just for St. Patrick's Day.

"Shamrocks Biscornu Scissor Fob"
Designer: Sandra Longan
Stitched on 32ct. cream linen using DMC threads.
I made the cording from three colors of DMC used in the design.
I couldn't find buttons I liked, so I settled for two 5mm Swarovski Crystal Butterflies.

That's it for today, thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your thoughts behind, so until next time.....

A Gift for St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is Monday, March 17th so I decided to design a little something for everyone to stitch up. I would love to see your finished versions of my designs.

This is the English version (obviously) :}

And here it is in Gaelic/Irish
{{{A great big Thank You goes out to Jenny in Dublin, Ireland for supplying me with the correct translation.}}}

I used three different translators an they all came up with the same translation {which turned out to be wrong}. If you speak Gaelic/Irish and my translation is wrong, please let me know so I can change the chart and re-post.

The snow here is finally melting away, but in it place is the new bog land that used to be our front yard and parking spaces. Can you hear me walking out to the Jeep {Spulush, spulush, spulush, spulush, Splash!! Forgot about the deep tire ruts}. Not fun at all.

That's it for now, thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts behind. I appreciate each and every one of them.

TUSAL Update

According to the schedule it's time for my March 1st TUSAL update.
And since I've been stitchin' most days I have even more threads in my ORT jar.

There's a bit more color now with the addition of a few reds and mauve's.

************

We're up to more than a foot {12 inches} of snow here in our corner of Montana.
It started snowing Thursday night, snowed all day Friday and today and our high temp was -9 below {AKA freeze your a** off}, so instead of driving the 35 miles into town and braving the below zero temps, even colder windchill's, snow and slick icy roads, we opted to stay home with the wood stove going.
And since we always have enough stocked up in the freezer, pantry and basement to last a while, grocery shopping will take place next Saturday when it's supposed to be 40 degrees outside.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts behind.
